The location was outstanding, easily 10/10. Everything you could want to see, do, or visit was within walking distance, which made our stay very convenient. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and especially appreciated the combination of the excellent location, generous space, and cleanliness. Overall, a great place to stay and a fantastic base for exploring the area, just beware of the high deposit and no elevator in advance.
The apartment itself was nice, but there were a few disappointing issues. First, the security deposit was extremely high: £1,000 for just a three-night stay. I have never experienced such a large deposit requirement in any other apartment rental. Another issue was that the apartment advertised an elevator, but it was out of service during our stay. We should have been informed about this in advance, as we had to walk up five floors. The host should remove the elevator from the listing until it's working again - But the host carried our luggage up when we arrived which was nice. Took some time until the host met us at arrival, but it was quite late so maybe that's why. There was also some traffic noise from the road at night, although it was manageable and did not cause major problems.
