The Marylebone Villa

Spacious (we were a group of four), clean, renovated property in a wonderful, central location, which is actually closer to SoHo than it is to Marylebone high street. You have the whole building, which I believe was originally a stable/carriage house. The basement en suite is especially spacious and private and on its own could be good for a young family. During the day, there was a lot of very loud construction in the areas immediately surrounding the property (I do not fault the owners for this), but under normal circumstances I could tell the street would have been quiet.

The ceilings are very tall, which is cool, but it also means there’s a lot of stairs between floors. The main living spaces are on the top floor and the bedrooms are on separate floors. There’s a small elevator/dumb waiter available for use for luggage/groceries only but it did not work. We had to reach out to the property managers a few times and it felt like we were passed around to different people depending who was on shift, including one number which was in Morocco. We mentioned the elevator issue to them, but never received any follow up after they said they would look into it. The towel hook in the ground floor powder room was loose/broken/not functional - I wouldn’t normally care but it was a very small power room and there was nowhere else for a towel to dry our hands.

There is tons of space in every room, the beds are comfy, and the facilities are outstanding. Possibly the best shower I've had in a long time. Props to the cleaners, because this place is spotless. We met one of them as she was finishing up when we arrived, and she was lovely.

It's surrounded by construction work which can be very loud, but to be fair, that may just be the case for anywhere in London.

What truly elevated our experience was the friendly, responsive, and available team. Any question or request was met with immediate, warm assistance, allowing us to relax completely from start to finish. This villa is a true hidden gem. We’ve already decided we’ll be returning for future stays, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends seeking a perfect luxury retreat. An absolute 10/10 experience.
