Green Ville

We had the most wonderful five days at Green Ville; it truly exceeded our (already high) expectations in every regard. The villa is beautiful and the outdoor spaces are truly magical; being able to lie in a hammock nestled amongst the flowers was a daily joy. There are breathtaking views of the sea from the many different verandas too; we would spend each meal of the day at a different one! We also arrived to a delightful tray of goodies from the hosts, who were welcomed us to the villa in person, which was very sweet and much appreciated. The house itself was really well equipped with all of the amenities you'd need to make life super easy (all of the kitchen crockery and utensils you're used to having in your own home, plenty of cleaning products, toilet rolls supplied, a massive fridge and washing machine, etc). The pool is generously sized too and in great condition; we counted that you have a choice of 13 (thirteen!) sun-loungers to choose from when you're out of the water. You can truly tell that a lot of love and thought has gone into making this villa a home. It is in a great location; just 20 minutes from the airport by car (it is at the top of a steep and narrow hill though!), with plenty of big supermarkets within a 10-minute drive and a great little open-grill restaurant (Flor da Amexia) a couple of kilometres away too. I wouldn't normally make this much effort with a review, but I feel it is the least that the hosts Adelaide, Manuel and their daughter deserve for creating such a beautiful and restful home. I certainly hope we will have the opportunity to come back in future... five days simply wasn't enough for us!

I really am struggling to come up with anything we didn't enjoy about our time at this property. The only negative was that we had to leave and return to normal life in the UK!!

There are simply no comparisons to anywhere we have ever stayed. A 5* experience in every sense. From the 20 minute drive from Faro to the house we were straight into the pool. Maximum privacy as currently no properties to the left or right, so ideal to unwind with views of Faro in the distance. Attention to detail was second to none with beautifully appointed rooms throughout, crisp sheets, a delightful welcome pack from our hosts, and superbly appointed bbq with everything you needed. Kitchen knives were sharp enough, tea towels plentiful, coffee machine simple to use and induction hob a delight. Many towels, and you will want for nothing once here. Weather 28- 33 deg mid September and a 65"LG television topped everything off in the downstairs 2nd lounge. If you expect a lot from a property this will leave you lost for words. We were ASTONISHED !! Many congratulations on a magnificent build. We hope you get to enjoy it as much as everybody will. If you are not fully booked, we'll be back very soon. There is not a single negative to mention. That is how good this house is.

Fantastic pool, property was outstanding, decorated to a very high standard. Everything was thought of!

Would have been nice to have had a file of local information. Places to eat etc.

The property lies a little off the beaten track but not too remote so still easily accessible if you have a car. It sits in a very quiet location and is very spacious. The owners are super friendly and came in person to hand over the keys. The rooms are very clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. The property comes with a beautiful garden and a fantastic big pool (absolute highlight for the kids).
