Camp Dharamshala

Stayed at Camp Dharamshala as a solo female traveller and had a very pleasant experience. The location takes you away from the busy tourist areas and closer to nature. The campsite is very well maintained, and the staff go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. Bathrooms are big and clean, and the small seating area outside each camp is the best place to sit and watch the sun set and rise. The food at the location is fresh and very well prepared. Enjoyed my stay and will be back soon to unplug and unwind.

You have to climb some stairs to get to the camp, and that can be a problem if you are not the fittest or elderly. Manage transport beforehand, as it will be hard to catch taxis in the area.

Great location, extremely welcoming staff, comfortable stay, cool weather, quiet and serene surroundings. Fresh, homemade, delicious meals The staff provided all what was required for our trip. Rajeev, Ankush, Vicky and Sumit( host) were very accommodating! Planning to visit again soon!

Nothing very obvious! However, senior citizens to carry a stick to climb up to the camp site . Just as a safety measure!
