Howard was an excellent host. Unfortunately due to health reasons we were unable to use the glamping tent that we had booked because it was quite a distance to walk up a steep field to the top of the very beautiful apple orchard. Howard made very comfortable in a lower down shepherd hut, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to returning on 15th 😀

Glamping at Bowhayes was an absolute DREAM. Totally exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to go back. The bell tents are lovely, the bed is insanely comfortable, and the orchard was so peaceful and relaxing. The field kitchen is so much fun to cook in and has pretty much everything you need, the horsebox bathroom is great too and it was so nice to have a proper toilet and shower. Howard was so friendly and helpful, the whole experience was an absolute delight. If you stay at Bowhayes walk down to the Golden Lion pub too, the cake and pies were so good!
The only thing I can think of was maybe more comfortable seating for outside the bell tent?

We had a great experience staying for one night in a glamping bell tent. It was lovely to be surrounded by an apple orchard. The bell tent itself was nice: the bed and duvet were comfortable. If you plan to stay here, be sure to bring a power bank, as there is no electricity, and an eye mask since the tent gets very bright in the morning. Very different experience to the night before.
The location is convenient, close to the seaside and shops. We had a bit of trouble finding the exact spot via GPS, but we followed the road signs for the barn, which led us there.
The continental breakfast was delicious and included in our Genius booking. Otherwise, it would have been an additional charge. The shower facilities were clean, powerful, and not far from our tent. They are shared with another bell tent.
Overall, it was okay, however, £120 for one night during the weekend is quite pricey for a “tent” experience without electricity.
Not sure if I would stay again.
There is a lack of electricity, and the price for "glamping" is quite high for just one night over the weekend.
