Lovely Caravan With A Lake View At Southview Holiday Park Ref 33043Cl

Lake view was lovely albeit at the end of the park entrance so a lot of traffic for holiday people going in and out parking was good next to caravan however people seemed to park wherever they could get a spare regardless of which caravan they were accommodating

No internet we were told they had a dvd player but not one in caravan limited tv channels garden furniture was chained to decking so could not turn chairs to face the sun only 2 cushions for garden furniture so uncomfortable when sitting out bed was uncomfortable no space in bathroom

The location was beautiful. Plenty of room .

Although small issues same as previous reviews. Over grown step area. Limescale kettle( bought our own ) Few things need replacing . Broken blinds . Single Mattresses not very comfy.

The location

The blind in the kitchen is broken, the shower rail in the bathroom is broken , the kettle was full of limescale finding these on our visit was worrying as i didnt want to be blamed for them being damaged

The caravan is in a lovely location right beside the lake, which is ideal for fishing. The photos mostly matched the accommodation, parking was easy and spacious.

The single beds were much narrower than they appeared in the photos and were difficult for an adult to sleep comfortably in. The duvets were also far too large for the beds. When we pushed the beds together, we found wrappers and rubbish underneath and beside them. The cupboards and bedside units also needed wiping before we could use them, so the cleaning appeared to have been quite superficial. The bath had no shower attachment, and the shower in the other bathroom could not be adjusted properly because the water remained extremely hot, so we were unable to use it. The large bush beside the entrance steps should also be cut back, as it makes access awkward. We knew there was no Wi-Fi, but mobile data did not work in the area either.
