It was budget but location is best and hotel staff was very helpful. I recommend this hotel for many of those look for budget one

This was our last hotel stay in Vietnam, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst. Check-in was very quick, but also quite impersonal—the receptionist simply asked for my name, took photos of our passport, and handed over the key without providing any information. We had to ask where the lift was, only to later discover that while our room was on the 8th floor, the lift only goes up to the 7th. After travelling across Vietnam and three other countries, we were carrying quite a bit of luggage, including items from our recent shopping. Hauling two large suitcases and two carry-ons up a narrow and unsafe staircase from the 7th to the 8th floor was extremely difficult and concerning. I tried to negotiate for an upgraded room with easier access, but was told the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist firmly stated that we were assigned the room we had booked, without offering any apology or acknowledging the inconvenience or safety concern. Out of frustration, I even checked Agoda to see if we could move to another hotel, only to find that this hotel still had rooms available. However, we decided to stay rather than lose over $*** plus. On the positive side, the shower was good, and the location is convenient—within walking distance to restaurants and laundry shops. This experience taught me to always confirm lift access when booking accommodation.

Small room.

I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids. But was told the hotels system is showing only 2 adults as part of booking and was asked to additional money to accommodate the kids. I offered to show Agoda confirmation, but the receptionist was not ready to take look. The whole attitude was that it was my problem and she wanted me to sort it out with Agoda. I am sure I am not the only person who faced this issue. Just before writing this review went thru all the other reviews and see that a family went thru the same problem just couple months back. So obviously the receptionist is aware of this guest count configuration issue between hotel and Agoda. I had to share a phone number with Agoda where they could reach out to me, I asked I could use their phone number and it was turned down. At one point I asked if I could cancel and move to a different hotel, she said yes and stopped there. The answer I expected is ‘you may. But you will still be charged 100%’. Then I followed up with another question to get the answer that I will still be charged 100% if I cancel. The receptionist later helped with booking taxi to airport, preparing invoice receipt so I could apply for refund of the additional money that I paid to the hotel etc. But the damage was already done. Somewhere I felt the basic courtesy and empathy was missing. Apart from this, facilities and stay was decent. Big beds with decent space. Had a balcony as well. Linen is old and needs change. May be safe to book for standard 2 adults. If you are booking a single room with kids or additional guests, I would suggest to be careful.
