The space was great, beds were comfortable, and the location/distance to the things we did was perfect.

It was lacking what we would consider “basic essentials”: there were no simple cooking spices, no sauté pan, no tea kettle, no oven mitt. There are some minor repairs that need to happen (the floor boards under the table are not secure, some glasses and bowls had chips on the rim, it’s missing a smoke detector). On the first night we heard the upstairs neighbor around 11pm but not for long, the second night the neighbor stomped around with a heeled shoe from 11pm to 5am consistently. It ruined a night of sleep for us which made the next morning pretty miserable with our small children.

The apartment was spacious, clean and attractively furnished. Basic kitchen equipment was provided. It had off-street parking. Close to some good restaurants.

Light sleepers should definitely bring earplugs!. It is near a fire station, there is often street noise that penetrates into the apartment and the air conditioning was loud and rattling. Although I don't think anyone stayed in the apartment above, when people were up there (cleaning?) footsteps and other noises of normal life were quite audible.
