A fabulous place to stay to explore New forest area or go to local folk festival

It’s off the beaten track and no obvious signs even when you are on the long drive up . On hot days if leaving for new guests close curtains as it gets very hot otherwise .

A definite highlight of our holiday and very memorable

wonderful experience. well equipped and lots of space. working furnace. well-stocked kitchen with regards to plates, silverware, cups. very peaceful, idyllic. Even a deer appeared in the morning! would definitely stay there again.

location was a little bit difficult to find. Definitely need a car to get there. Toilet is a bit small. A bit difficult to reach the toilet paper.

Absolute Gem

The Cowshed was just perfect. Everything you could possibly want and more. My skydive had gone quicker than expected, so flexibility with check in was very helpful. The Cowshed is beautifully designed and decorated. The setting is so quiet and picturesque. It had everything we needed and we felt at home immediately. We had no issues but felt help was there if required. Had a fantastic meal at the King's Head in Whiteparish.

The dwelling is gorgeous & a very impressive conversion of a cowshed. We felt right at home as soon as we entered. It's very well equipped for a delightful stay & the location is very good for exploring the New Forest.. The owners, Philip and Jo were very friendly &.helpful. Thank you! We hope to return to The Cowshed before too long..

It has pretty much everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Coffee machine and the own small garden with table and chairs were a real plus. Very well appointed kitchen and cooking facilities.

It’s being very picky and just my view, but salt, pepper and sugar could be kept in the kitchen area as often things that no one considers when buying to cook in.

Moo moo land 🐮

Everything was excellent. This was an unplanned 3 night stay for me. I had seen this accommodation before on booking.com, but I was never tempted, but wow 👌 so glad I chose it on this occasion. What made it even more special was being able to light the log fire, burn candles, and just soke up the tranquillity of fantastic surroundings. Everything is provided by way of utilities for cooking, drinking from, and eating off. Parking is ample. If the occasion arises again for me to visit my home 🏡 country again, this accommodation will be top of my list. 😁

If there's anything, I was a little surprised at how small the bathroom is.

Parfait superbe calme et cosy

Parfait et magnifique Le logement est très grand , très cosy , très calme, endroit magnifique en campagne vue campagne et forêt , les hôtes sont très gentils et discrets . Arrivée autonome . Cuisine équipée comme à la maison . Lit très confortable. Un régal de tomber sur une location comme ça aussi belle et spacieuse. Un lieu à découvrir absolument.
