If you are interested in staying a real home with a fully eqipped kitchen, Gioia's house is perfect. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The metro is a few steps away.
I liked the fact that Garbatells is a Roman neighborhood where Italian is spoken. But if need English, this may not be your neighborhood.

The place feels very cozy and is located close to the metro station. In the kitchen is everything equipped you might need. We really loved the place and felt right at home, would definitely come back again!
We had to get used to the shower, because it took a little patience to get the water temperature right but it was okay

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Rome briefly. We can't rate it highly enough! The location suited us perfectly, out of the hustle and bustle of Rome but a 5 minute walk to the metro. Cool neighborhood with some great bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed the local vibe. The apartment was beautiful, really well appointed and comfortable as well as spotlessly clean! We found free parking on the street right in front of the gate. Our host Gioia was super helpful and the communication was perfect.
Nothing that we didn't like.
