We were in town for a Celebration of Life service and 6 adults stayed very comfortably. We had a beautiful, meaningful weekend with extended family. We were able to host our other family members for dinner both nights and the layout of the house was perfect. I received multiple compliments from family on "picking the perfect house." We enjoyed the kitchen/dining area and loved the comfortable outdoor seating, table and chairs, and overhead fans. Then we enjoyed the hot tub once everyone left. The weather was gorgeous and we took the kayaks out for a spin. We should have followed the directions to bring them out overnight. We needed to bail them out the next day as they were nearly full - the tide, I guess, since it didn't rain. The bailing process, however, attracted an "aggregation" of manatees which was a highlight for all. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Indian Rocks beach. Beach parking was a disaster but patience paid off. Cars were lined up waiting for spots. Jennifer was an extremely responsive and accommodating host. She recommended Pinellas Pizzaria. I went with Sardo's, and should have listened to Jen.... soggy and cold, not much flavor. My Uncle Stephen would have been cracking jokes left and right. I'm trying to think of any complaints.... nope!

We stayed at this property because it was close to Orlando and Weeki Wachee springs for my little girls birthday she wanted to see princesses and mermaids! Our stay was magical! Two of the days we just stayed in, fried up some local fish from a seafood market down the street, fished off the dock, kayaked, swam in the hot tub. They have everything for baby’s: a crib, bouncer, high chair, and toys. The bed was so comfortable. We saw an otter swimming in the lake. We caught good size catfish and lady fish in January so probably would be even better during the summer.

We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this is truly one of the nicest vacay rentals we have ever stayed in! Jen did an excellent job communicating with us and was always quick and courteous in responding to any questions we had. We stayed here with our daughters, their spouses and our grandkids. Everyone felt comfortable in this lovely vacay home. Jen & Ben have gone above and beyond to anticipate the needs of their guests by providing so many special features to make sure their guests feel comfortable and at home. Some of our favorite things were the hot tub, the fishing access, use of their beach and fishing equipment, beach towels, the lovely decor, gorgeous back yard views from the deck, the fun coffee bar, fully stocked cooking utensils,
plenty of comfy beds and seating for everyone. What sets this vacay rental apart are the special touches: bottle of wine, toy box in the home and sand toys for the beach, luggage racks in every room and a great selection of spices available. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Cast Away Cay in the future. Thank you for your kindness and sharing your lovely home with us. We will treasure the sweet family memories. The Long Family
