About this cabin rental
Charming private mountain cabin in serene setting overlooking a creek and just 15 minutes from the slopes. Relax and enjoy the crisp mountain air and tranquil sounds of the creek in this private, newly renovated mountain cabin that boasts a large parklike yard and expansive deck.
Newly renovated private creekside cabin located in Rhododendron near hiking, fishing, golf, winter and water sports. Great for gathering with friends and family or for a romantic get-away!
The 2 bedrooms downstairs are both equipped with queen sized beds, smart TVs and inidvidual climate controlls in each bedroom. The large upstairs loft has 2 twin sized beds and is perfect for kids (custom built in play area coming to the loft soon!).
The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs including: dishes, cookware, bakewear, spices, coffee maker, toaster, oven, microwave and dishwasher
The creek offers a relaxing ambiance from the expansive deck which leads to a built in firepit (perfect for roasting marshmallows! As long as there isn't a burn ban in effect). Sit and read a good book under a tree or enjoy watching wildlife (we get lots of deer!) on one of the outdoor benches around the property in the parklike yard.
The living room has a large comfy couch that is a perfect place to curl up and watch a movie or gather round the dining table for a family meal then enjoy a family game while you enjoy the views of nature through the charming windows.

Great house.. Owls Nest is an awesome pace to stay while in the Mt Hood area. Skip the Zig Zag Inn though.

We had a lovely 3 nights at Owls Nest. The place was immaculate, cosy and super well equipped. Our ages ranged from three to seventy and everyone was comfortable. The deck was delightful. It was a short ride to Mt Hood. We could not have asked for more. Megan was a caring and thoughtful host. Everything went well.

Was great. Crisp little cabin with plenty of space outdoors. Wish the hot tub was up done but hey can’t win them all.
Only complaint is the fire pit, the hole at the bottom made the fire burn out too fast as the coal bed could would just drop out.
