You will want to relax on the private back deck accompanied only by the sounds of the flowing waters of Clear Creek and the light of the moon and stars. Soak in the new 6-person hot tub after a day of hiking, biking or playing in the snow at Mt Hood. Enjoy the view of the woods and the creek from the windows that surround you in the living room or cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace.
You will be just minutes for dozens of miles of trails in the Mt Hood National Forest in one direction. Or head the other direction to restaurants, stores and attractions making this location ideal for your vacation basecamp.
The Moondance Cabin is popular for romantic retreats including proposals, honeymoons and anniversaries; however the cabin is also suitable for two couples or a small family. When we booked the cabin on the river, we didn’t realize how ON the river we’d be! It’s SO beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to do a family getaway into nature! We found 18 of the 24 gnomes in the forest. The cabin was provided by a TON of towels for the hot tub and showers. The Roku provided a ton of channels to choose from, and there are tons of family games and books provided!

To start i rented the cabin for Christmas. It is a beautiful small but confy cabin. There was three thing fors us the first was the smell its a strong smell of musk. It would be great before someone is howing up to air it out. And number 2 for me and my family was the grill it says they clean and have it ready before every new renter but is was realy dirty . So I tried to clean it but without the necessary things was unable.i tried towork around it and use the sideburner with my iron skillet for some burgers but ran out of propane on the 3rd burger. And for me that was a big one because i specifically asked if i needed my own propane and was told it would all be there for me . But as llong and they work on the small stuff it is a good cabin next to a beautiful creek.
