About this house rental
Former stable renovated on 2 levels, in the heart of the regional natural park of the Cotentin marshes, this cottage is located on the charming land of a main but entirely independent house, not overlooked, 2 entrances on each side and an access gate independent of the rest of the property for your vehicle.
The accommodation includes:
1 Living/dining room
Fully equipped kitchen open to the living room with dishwasher, oven and microwave, fridge with freezer compartment ***, kettle, coffee maker (filters provided), crockery and accessories, etc...
kitchen linen and cleaning kit. (sponge, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products)
2 bedrooms, bed linen included, duvets and pillows. Beds made on arrival.
1 bathroom with shower and toilet, towels are not included.
Large plot of land with terrace not overlooked, small stream and small pond adjoining the building.
The cottage is located in Fauville in the commune of Sainte Mère Eglise:
2 minutes from the shops, the city center and the Airborne Museum, 15 minutes from Utah Beach, between 10 and 15 minutes from the marshes, 30 minutes from the town of Saint Vaast la Hougue and the island of Tatihou, 45 minutes from the beach of Sciotot, 50 minutes from the Pointe de la Hague and the lighthouse of Goury, 35 minutes from the city of the sea in Cherbourg.

We were met by the owner & a cheery welcome.The cottage is beautiful with a large private outdoor area, decking, dining area & substantial umbrella. Inside is well equipped & maintained. It has a lovely airy feeling about the place & is nice & cool inside - we stayed during the heatwave, but didn’t struggle with the temperature. The kitchen is nicely laid out & leads into an open living room.Although there’s no washing machine this wasn’t a problem as there’s a 24/7 launderette at the supermarket. Please note, towels are required. The cottage is well situated with easy access to the main roads.The nearest supermarket which is a Super U is only 3 minutes drive away & is really well stocked with an excellent range of products. If you are visiting for the D-Day experience, then the location is perfect, but there’s so much more that the local area offers, or just take a couple of chill weeks in the lovely quiet garden. This is definitely a holiday location that we will come back to.

Cozy converted barn within a stones throw of St Mere Eglise. Clean, well equipped and spacious. Great communication with Host. Quiet setting for those looking for retest and relaxation.

This was a lovely and quiet spot just outside Saint Mere Eglise. We walked into town (15-20 minute walk) for the Airborne Museum and cafes. Stephane was a responsive and good host.
