FAQ: Our house is a Single-story Rancher with a Basement. We have a single zone HVAC system for the entire house. The basement is typically about 5 to 7 degrees cooler then the main floor. This difference is most noticeable when it is hot outside and the AC is running. We have found that setting the thermostat (in the hallway on the main floor) to 70 degrees and running the fan is the best way to keep the two levels as equal as possible though they will still be different temperatures. We are happy to provide any advice we can about this system during your stay.

PARKING: 2 on Driveway, 2 on gravel pad to the right of the driveway, free street parking.

For hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts enjoy the Canfield Mountain Trails that are a 5 minute walk from the house. Lake CDA and Hayden Lake are both just a 10 minute drive offering an enticing place to fish, swim, or lounge on the shore. Silverwood Theme Park, an amusement park boasting over 70 rides and attractions, is a short drive to the North. For winter travelers, skiing and snowboarding opportunities abound with Lookout Pass, Schweitzer Mountain, and Silver Mountain all within an hour drive.

Foodies will love the endless options for delicious meals available at local CDA restaurants. Dockside, Meltz, Mango Tree, and Fire pizza are some of our favorites but there are options for everyone!

The house was a piece of art. Perfect for any gathering of friends, family, loved ones. The national park theme gives a warm and welcoming yet adventurous atmosphere. The house was also decorated for fall, very nice touch. The host was very effective and efficient in communicating. They were willing to turn up the hot tub temperature for us upon request. Kitchen had all appliances for cooking homemade meals. Would book again. 10/10.

The house was perfect for 8 guys traveling to play golf in the Idaho area. The owner was very responsive and attentive during our stay.

The house is well appointed. The photos are accurate. The game room is a garage but it does have games in it. The hosts appear to live on site and though we never saw them it is a littleawkward. The location is good for access to local restaurants and attractions. The air conditioner is not up for the 100 degree days that we experience while we were there. The down stairs was comfortable but the up was tough until the sun went down and we could open some windows. Keeping the doors to the upstairs bedrooms closed during the day helped the recovery some. Leave the ac on when you leave so the next guests don’t struggle. Maybe the air system could us a service to balance the out put. A few fans would help. We showed up about and hour early and surprised the changeover crew. That was on us. We had been told it would not be ready before the designated time. I think the cleaning lady felt harassed. We got a “reminder” that quiet hours began at 10pm when we were in the backyard having conversation and a cigar at 9:45 and were in by 10:00. That seemed a little aggressive but then again the host live on site and have small children. Awkward. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was easy to use and had the equipment needed for cooking in.

Amazing property! Has all the comforts of home! Nice big backyard for kids to run and let off steam and adults to relax around the fire or in the hot tub. One of our favorite things about this amazing property is how it has two of everything. Two kitchens two living rooms etc. This makes it perfect for multi family vacations which we love to do. We have stayed here several times but have also stayed elsewhere when not available and this property is definitely our family’s number one choice!

There were several shortcomings with this house that were disappointing for the high costToo expensive Low water pressure No dressers for clothing HVAC system is not balanced between rooms/ floors hot in some areas and cold in others Cameras are making us feel uncomfortable like we were being watched and that is not someplace I would rent if I had known The hot tub jets cause marks on our backs like bruises Inadequate kitchen utensils like only one of certain things Grill was difficult to lightNo comfortable seating in the garage which had the biggest tv inadequate seating in the main living room Kitchen was poorly organized as in where items are located too small in my opinion I would have to summarize by saying we didn’t get what we paid for definitely not 5 star over 6k for the week

We had multiple families and teens staying for a soccer tournament in the area. The rental was in a great location. Was super clean and loved that it had all the extra things you don't bring with you, shampoo, etc, ziplock bags, etc. Perfect place! Beds were super comfortable as well!

Everything was amazing. We were in Idaho for a wedding and had several family members sharing the house. We were all impressed and grateful for the cleanliness and size of the home. It was literally like two separate houses and everyone had plenty of space and privacy as well as common areas to eat and visit. My only suggestion would be to have a few fans to use while sleeping for ppl who like that. Also, a table or two around the living room couch for drinks. Oh, also the beds were very nice quality and comfort.
