In 1973, the communes of Feuguerolles-sur-Orne and Bully became associated communes. At that time, Bully had a deputy mayor and two municipal councillors. The merger between the two communes took place almost thirty years later in 2002. The commune is now called "Feuguerolles-Bully", and there is no longer a "quota of inhabitants" from the two villages in the municipal council.
