The organization Booking.com, which I have been using their services so far, has always guaranteed me certainty and reliability in choosing accommodation. Descriptions, photos, reviews, and ratings based on points have always helped me make the right decision. Unfortunately, the time for a worse experience had to come. And that moment arrived when I had to cancel my stay in Craiova in one apartment due to some problems with water, and chose Lamaitei Residence, which was labeled on the booking.com website as Exceptional (10) based on 8 reviews. Well, this property shouldn't be available on the booking.com portal at all. Unless someone really wants to go back in time to the 1980s. This apartment does not meet any cleanliness and tidiness standards. But let me go through it step by step: • The bed sheets were not clean, meaning they were not washed after the previous guests. This is unacceptable!!! • The entire apartment was recently painted, but that's not enough to live in it – it requires a MAJOR RENOVATION!!! • The doors in all rooms are from the 1980s. • The windows in all rooms are from the 1980s. • The bathroom still remembers the times of Nicolae Ceaușescu (just like the rest of the apartment). • We waited for 30 minutes in the evening for hot water to appear. In the morning, there was no hot water at all. • There was no kettle in the kitchen, and the small pot for boiling water had a torn handle. • The overall decor of the apartment is terrible!!! If it wasn't for our very late arrival, we definitely wouldn't have stayed in this apartment overnight. The overall rating of this place is very negative. There was no washing machine in the appartment, like on the picture on booking.com The previous reviews about this apartment are not true. I am attaching photos documenting the very low standard of this place. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone, ever!

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo appartamento a Craiova e ci siamo trovati bene. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, tutto era in ordine e confortevole. Il caffè era eccezionale – un vero piacere al mattino! Consigliato per un soggiorno tranquillo e senza sorprese.
