P7 - Goose Valley - Ocean Views

Great location in the Golf Estate, lovely restaurant, driving range and tennis courts.

The outside lights didn't come on at night and there were a few little things that could be improved.

The place is lovely and the view is great.

There were 2 rolls of loo paper - both were two thirds finished so essentially there was less than 1 full roll for 2 people for 3 nights. I think thats a bit rough.. The sugar and milk creamer powder were alive with ants - I think these should be stored in the fridge perhaps. The shower water doesnt drain so you have to be very careful when showering not to let the water rise high enough to over flow - this is a bit gross as you are standing in the water filled with whatever you have washed off your person and also, whatever is blocking the drain might be floating in the water you stand in. Lastly, I was exceptionally disappointed when I went to throw something in the bathroom bin and there was a wrapped up, used sanitary pad and a pad wrapper. People have periods, I get it but I dont want to see someone else's used wrapped pad in my loo bin. Its just not sanitary.

The view was beautiful from the balcony.

We would have liked another comfy couch in the lounge to relax on, one cannot really relax on those upright chairs. On the website it says the unit has a private pool so we were under the impression that that we would have a pool to ourselves but it was in fact a communal pool. It was 30+ degrees during our stay and with no fan or aircon it was really hot inside the unit as well as the second bedroom - maybe a ceiling fan in the bedroom will be helpful.
