Bears Hideaway

We loved everything about the property it was perfect.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

The cabin was cute and comfy. Upstairs bed was uncomfortable but other than that comfortable stay. Hot tub was great

We were fortunate enough to see a mother bear and her three cubs on the road in front of the cabin. The cabin was stocked well.

We didn't like the filthy hot tub cover, the massive spider webs on all corners of the front porch and the rocking chairs. We didn't like the spider webs and two spiders living inside the dishwasher. We didn't like the filthy table in the back porch where we could have grilled outside, had the area been cleaned the day before our scheduled arrival. We didn't like the oily residue left in the bath tubs which made them so slick that it caused my 78 year old mother to fall backwards, bruising her back and hitting her head on the floor. We didn't like the noise or the neighbor's jackhammer running all day Friday and all day Saturday. Half of the outdoor lights over the fire pit did not work. We didn't like the smell of mildew as soon as we walked into the cabin. Even the front door (a visitor's first impression) was filthy. A single hour of prepping this cabin properly - sweeping and cleaning the porches, a bit of air freshener inside, attention to detail - would have made a world of difference in our impression of the place. Misleading photos. Outdoor lights not functioning properly. Dirty porches. Rocking chairs inhabited by spiders and unusable. Filthy grilling area on back porch. Slick and oily bath tubs creating high risk for injury.
