Beautiful spacious accommodation in a character property in a quiet location.
The accommodation was in a very spacious stone house with character. We had the two bed Church View. The rest of the property is four bed accommodation. I guess you could have the whole house if you were a large group. It was very high standard and was very neat and clean on arrival. We were left a good food welcome pack and a lot of towels. Each of the bedrooms had their own en suite bathroom which were very high standard. The accommodation appeared wheelchair accessible although that wasn't relevant for us. There were very large safe gardens with lots of open space which would be great for kids. There was a very well equiped kitchen in a large sitting room plus a separate dining and seating area in a lovely conservatory. Plenty of games provided. There was a separate games room and laundry which we didn't use. TV and Wifi was good. The location was quiet and rural next to a farm with no other nearby properties - this is exactly what we wanted. It is near the interesting towns on the South coast and a short drive to the bigger towns further North on the Island. Parking was available outside the house and I think there was electric car charging although not relevant for us.
We were really happy with the accommodation and I am happy to recommend it. But one thing to note is that when you exit the property by car you are pulling out onto a fast road with very limited visibility left and right. Good quality mirrors are provided opposite the exit and you have to use these to check the road is clear before pulling out. This might be a bit of a challenge for drivers who are not comfortable or used to doing this. I believe there is an alternate exit through the farm which avoids this issue but we stuck to the nearby exit and used the mirrors.
