The location of this property is really nice. You are walking distance to the city. There is a very cute private beach by the bridge at the end of the street. It was roomy and comfortable say. They also made it very cozy with the book collections and games and blocks for kiddos which was appreciated as we traveled with a young family. It was a great experience with the family cooking breakfast and dinner together each day and enjoying the firepit at night. Also laundry was appreciated.
I wanted to mention this here regarding the motel across the street. But we found the motel to be quiet and unintrusive. A lot of people just commuting to work on bikes but did not have a negative impact at all on our stay and we felt safe with a young family the whole time. If you are going to be cooking in the kitchen you want to maybe bring some tongs and spatulas as well as serving spoons.

The location to the Mackinac ferry. The location was quiet. The property was clean.
We could have used more toilet paper and liquid soap for the upstairs bathroom.

Location was convenient and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Not a fan of the musty smell and the cockroaches. It’s pretty old and not updated and pricey, but it was a holiday weekend. Would have cost about the same for one room at the Grand Hotel.

Location was really good, close to everything. Not sure what the motel like building across the street is. A lot of younger people hanging out into the night. Assume they are summer workers or something. Did not feel unsafe, just took getting used to.
Kitchen could use some updated utensils and cookware.
