A great family home in a great location

A wonderful family home, very comfortable and perfect for our family over christmas. We were 4 adults of different ages, with a 4 year old and a little dog. We were personally met by the owner who was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions and helped us with any queries, it was a pleasure to meet him. The beds were very comfy and the house was clean, very cosy and warm. Great hot water in the showers and a brilliant big telly with reclining sofas - exactly what we had hoped for and great value for money! Tesco nearby and a really good fish and chip shop too! Highly recommend, thank you.

Stay away from this horrible place !!!

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Horrible place to stay!!! Dirty, not cleaned, mold and mold smell everywhere!!! There are leaks in the house and traces of leaks on the ceiling. Cobwebs, flooded window sills, even the Booking.com staff was horrified by the photos we provided. the photos on the website have NOTHING in common with reality. if you do not want to get infected with something and do not want to spoil your mood from staying in the city, avoid this place!!! And on top is absolutely unfriendly staff!!!

Lovely stay

The house was lovely and spacious. The beds were really comfortable and we had everything we needed. The host was excellent. Very welcoming and accommodating. The shower was really nice too.

The house was tidy and well kept but it could have been slightly cleaner with the dusting. There were quite a few spiders downstairs. The stairs were also very creaky.

Bad

We booked for two nights we left after 1 night ..This property was not clean , the shower doors where disgusting this house had not had a good cleaning for a very long time , it also had letters on A4 sheets of paper on each bedroom door which suggested that this property was let by room only to lots of individuals .. we did not shower at this property we did not cook at this property the kitchen cleanliness left a lot to be desired ,

A roomy property that needs a good clean.

It is a well equipped and spacious property

There are many fixings that are broken. The master shower is broken. The trim by the back door is broken and a trip hazard. The level of cleanliness is poor as all the cupboard doors in the kitchen are dirty. Cobwebs in the toilet and cotton buds stuck in the radiators. The back garden is slippery and poorly kept with a dumped bicycle and a back gate that can’t be locked. The boiler in the master bedroom is really noisy. The extendable table has food debris stuck in the gap and there is peeling paint in the bathrooms.

Not luxury by any standards. A clean property is essential

The location is what drew me to book this accommodation. The beds were comfortable and the master shower had good pressure

The house was very dirty in the kitchen and living area. It was worn and not well kept. One of the bedrooms had mold on the ceiling and water did drip onto the bed during our stay. The family bathroom shower pressure was practically nonexistent, a very poor shower. I had to purchase cleaning products to do my own cleaning on arrival.

A great property with an enthusiastic and pleasant host.

Host met us at the property and was in regular contact up to our arrival to ensure they would be at the property. Extremely helpful and took the stress out of the process as we arrived fairly late in the evening. Host then remained in regular contact throughout stay and met us again at checkout. Property was great for our needs which was primarily somewhere to sleep whilst in the area. Rooms were good and comfortable and great for all of us who stayed.
