Villa Maki

The property was stunning! Very clean and had things like towels, toilet rolls, they had water and coffee ready for us, so more than we expected. The family that owned the villa welcomed us with food and drinks when we arrived, and they gave us magnets as a gift when we left. They were so welcoming. The pool was cleaned every morning. They even took us to a local shop on the first day so we could buy food. And they made us pancakes! The beds were comfortable.

It was a bit far from the main towns, and travel was trickier than expected.

Beautiful villa with an amazing view. Wonderful host and family who greeted us arrival with a cheese and meat platter and home made raki ! Very attentive but not intrusive. Villa spotless and well equipped with all essentials. Had some lovely days chilling by the pool and other days exploring Kotor, Perast, Rose and Tara Zip line.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Maki, I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the incredible hosts. Marko and his family were so welcoming, we really couldn't have asked for more. They had arranged for us to have water, milk, wine and a beautiful platter of meats and cheeses when we arrived, as the shops were shut on Sundays. During the stay they brought us the best pancakes we've ever had and some incredible pita, a local dish. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming they were throughout our stay. The property itself is fantastic, the views are beautiful, the pool is great, and cleaned every morning by the owners. The villa has so much space and is immaculately clean, it's very well equipped, and feels like staying in a luxury hotel but with the benefit of having the whole place to yourself. There is also a gym, with running machine, weights and an incredible view! We have stayed in a number of villas, apartments and hotels over the years in Montenegro and this was absolutely our favourite and we will certainly be returning soon!
