Nice comfortable stay good space value for money

Property is next to sea and mountains. Kotor is 20 minutes from property there is lovely friendly cats there which made our stay more memorable. Nice place to stay

Lovely apartment with amazing lake views but problems with road closures

Nice big apartment with a fantastic view of Kotor Lake from the balcony. It was clean, really nicely decorated, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay here (despite issues with road closures in Prcanj) and liked the quiet area of Donji Stoliv. The accommodation is well linked by regular buses to Tivat and Kotor, they were reliable and cheap. And the hiking trail to upper Stoliv and connecting to Vrmac Ridge started next to the house. The accommodation has a very friendly dog named Mimi who greeted us on arrival - and we became best friends with the two ginger cats who regularly kept us company during our stay!

On three nights of our stay, there was filming going on in Prcanj meaning the roads were closed and the buses weren’t running. Unfortunately, this impacted our stay meaning we couldn’t get anywhere without using taxis. We only found out this information when we had a walk to Prcanj the day before. We appreciate that it isn’t the host’s fault, apparently the filming company had been unclear on times and dates, and even extended their filming days after we had left. This also affected another couple in the room next to us. But we think a heads up would have been nice that we could be potentially affected by this, there was no apologies or acknowledgement on how it had impacted us. The bus line was the reason for choosing to stay in this area. The host did arrange a taxi for us on checkout so we didn’t miss our bus from Kotor bus station though (but at an expense to us). This would have been an amazing stay otherwise.

Relaxing, peaceful stay around Kotor

This apartment is in the cute town of Stoliv, which we recommend as a nice quiet part of Kotor area to stay in. The views from the balcony and the waterside quay area are fantastic, and there is good parking area onsite. There is a small market a few minutes walk away, and the trail up to upper Stoliv town is right next door. The hosts are very friendly and have very cute cats and a dog. The apartment is comfortable and clean, and kitchen is functional.

Not a criticism, just a note to recommend having a car if you stay here, unless you’re happy to use the bus service. Be aware that the road around the bay is very narrow, so highly recommend using a small car, and being a confident driver.

Beautiful view but could improve in the details.

The bedroom was quite spacious and the view over the lake was stunning with an outdoor private terrace.

No shower gel. No shampoo. No salt, pepper or oil to cook. The shower faucet was difficult to manipulate. And there was still some milk left in the tea kettle.

Value for money with spectacular views!

The view is spectacular and the unit is about 3min drive from the Ferry Port across and cost only €5/car. The unit is spacious. The washing machine is a huge help. Well done!

The unit need upgrading. It was extremely windy, cold and rainy for 2 days and the rain came in through the patio door. Also no extra blankets. We were really cold. But all in all, we had a great stay.

We had a great time there!

The location was perfect – we had access to a private "beach" with sunbeds and parking. The apartment is only 200 meters from the supermarket and about a 25-minute drive from Kotor. The place was clean and spacious, more than enough for two people. If you want to cook for yourself, that’s also possible – the apartment is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Not to mention, the host is a very kind and helpful person.

Nice family vacation

The location at the sea and not the busy part to Kotor. Kids woke up and were able to go swimming. Very good host and flexible. Thanks for the hospitality!

Well located but dated apartment

Very well located in a quieter area of the bay, free parking is very convenient as it's not easy in this area.

The apartment itself is okay but feels a bit dated, for quite a steep price. It looked like there have been some moisture issues in the bathroom and the light switches looked sketchy. When we arrived the second evening, there was apparently no water in the whole area. This can of course happen, but it would have been nice to get a warning from the host that this happens often and when we tried calling him he was really annoyed and not friendly at all. We didn't meet anyone during check-in, but this was definitely not a nice experience.

Great stay, looking forward to coming again soon.

The property is very cozy, well situated, equipped good, there is a pier in front of it where you can spend day, with beach furniture. If you come by car, as we did, there is a free parking right in front of the house. The owner is super kind and very accommodating, he lent us his speaker and arranged the beach furniture for our best enjoyment! We’ ll be back soon for sure!

Great time by the beach, would go again

Location was perfect, it was peaceful, we had access to kayak and staff was very welcoming.

We had no running water during 2 days in a row due to city construction and no electricity during an evening but it was not their fault. The bathroom and some kitchen stuff could have been cleaner.

Kotor Bay, the place, the people, the beach – impeccable. I’m so happy we decided to spend a week here. If you are without a car: pizzeria with quite good seafood 5 mins by walk, nearest market is ~20 mins, bus to Kotor and Tivat goes every other hour (2 hours on Sundays). Not sure it’s a place for people who are looking for an intense night life. If you have tiny small kids – beach might be too deep. Must be a good spot to discover the bay and Montenegro in general if you are travelling by car. Do t forget to buy a food for dogs and cats, mostly for cats. A LOT. We didn’t want to leave. I found my peace here. Hope to come back again sooner or later for my dolce far niente.

Fantastic!

The apartment was absolutely amazing! The apartment was perfectly clean upon our arrival and was equipped with all the appliances we needed to have a comfortable stay. The room was extremely spacious and very comfortable. The view from the patio was also gorgeous and we also enjoyed having access to the sea front just a few steps outside the property. Host was also extremely kind and helpful even though they were busy with preparations for the bush season, we really appreciated this. We would 100% recommend this beautiful property to anyone wanting a calm and comfortable stay while in Kotor. Would definitely book again!

Quaint and a perfect location

The location was absolutely stunning and the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Tolga and Saba made us feel like we were staying with family. Not only were they great hosts but went above and beyond informing us about the beautiful country. After a few days we immediately wanted to book for more but sadly it was all booked up. The quaintness and charm of the place and the staff were second to none. Thank you for the incredible memories.

Short Kotor stay

Balcony was lovely. Hot showers. Price of the accommodation was fabulous. Blueline bus will stop anywhere along the route from Kotor to Tivat

Nice clean appartment with a very helpful owner.

The apartment was nice and clean with a good balcony view. The owner was very prompt at replying to my messaging with questions- very helpful! Value for money was good for Kotor. You can get the bus from outside the apartment (see photo for rough schedule)

Perfect stay, worth every penny.

The location is very nice especially if you are traveling from the Tivat side. There are plenty of options to swim in the water along the way. There is a restaurant nearby that serves good food as well. You must definitely go for the room with the balcony. Room is spacious enough. The balcony view is awesome for spending a relaxed evening. Balcony is the real highlight of this room. And of course, the locality is very silent, calm and quiet. If you are planning to visit Kotor, this is a very good option. If you travel to the Tivat side, you can catch the ferry and visit perast and Herceg Novi from this place.

Except for a few things, the stay was superb. The AC in the room was not working. But we didn't mind as we spend most day time outside. While inside the room, we leave the door to balcony open where it brought fresh cool breeze from sea. At night you need to lock the door, but again, it was manageable without AC. The fridge was not working in-between, but again for a vacation not much to complain about.

Peacefull place near Kotor

The apartment is beachfront and there’s a little semi private beach for the guests. The host is always available and quickly responsitive

About the location, despite it is a really quite place and served with markets nearby, we took a lot to move by car around the bay of Kotor and main attractions, because of traffic and tiny roads. We were there in August.

A lovely apartment with a fantastic location and easy access to the sea. The huge balcony was a bonus and the apartment itself had a lot of space for our family of four. Parking is provided and restaurants are in walking distance.

Lovely place to stay and relax for a few days!

The host, Saba, is very kind and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and had all the supplies you may need. The beach is right out front and they lend you chairs and sunshades. The specific location is Stoliv, it’s a 25-30 min drive to Kotor, but you can also take the public bus (you had to pay €1.5 p/p in cash) that usually stops every 1 hour. The closest place to buy basic groceries was 500m away and if you want a bigger market, there’s one 2km away.

Beautiful Spot

Perfect spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the location. The small roads are a challenge but fun (from the ferry you turn left then a couple of km to go)The restaurant not far from the accommodation was perfect. Soba was welcoming, asking to water the plants on the balcony made us feel at home. It was hard to find having no internet (bundel doesn't work in Montenegro) & no name sign & no house number written in the address of booking.com made it a challenge...but we made it and was well worth it

Great location on the first line with its own beach. The water in the bay was always warm and clean. Has its own car parking. Comfortable and spacious room with sea view. There is everything you need for recreation and living. Very wonderful hosts, they treated us to local delicious beer for free. We liked everything very much! We want to come back next year. Recommended!
