Cascais Duplex Apartment

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Es bestehen diverse Mobilitätsangebote (Bus vor der Haustür, Taxi, Uber). Sie befindet sich im obersten Stock eines Wohnhauses. Das Interieur ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Auffällig ist die tlw. künstlerische Dekoration der Wohnung (stylische Lampen sowie Gemälde /Bilder). Das Highlight sind die beiden großen Dachterrassen mit Blick ins Grüne (auf der einen Seite Richtung Sintragebirge, auf der anderen Richtung Meer). Der Gastgeberter João ist sehr freundlich, zugewandt und engagiert und hat sich sofort bei entsprechenden Anfragen gekümmert. Ganz lieben Dank dafür! Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

This duplex (2 floor, 3 bedroom with 2 sundecks and 1 balcony and 2 full bathrooms) was far better than we expected. The only thing that would have made it better is if it were magically transported into downtown, historic Cascais. The location is off the beaten track, but was great for us, as we had a car. Uber is so cheap it kind of doesn't matter. You can uber everywhere for about 8 euros one way. Joao is a consummate host who was "johnny-on-the-spot" when I had a problem with the upstairs toilet. He had it working in the afternoon. We couldn't get over our luck with the gorgeous, spacious sundeck and we used them every single evening for our own "Happy Hour". We love the bigger, more spacious beaches as well, so we had much closer access to the Guincho area for beachcombing. This property is a dream home for us. We could easily have fit in 1 to 2 more friends. Wish we had! We felt so lucky to spend a week here.

Nothing. We loved this place. The third bedroom has water damage from the ceiling which Joao is intending to fix soon. But we didn't use that room, so we didn't need that fixed for our stay.

A large, clean apartment with two large, private terrace areas upstairs. It was very quiet at night.

It was quite a long walk into the centre of town.
