It’s very cosy and you will have all the essentials for a weekend. Bus stop is close to the accommodation, and 13 mins walk to Wool Station. Very calm and quiet area.

Location. Good shower. Small fridge, tea/coffee facilities. The host kept us informed on line.

Could hear talking & walking about from the host next door. Stairs creaking. Partition between our room & the host was too thin hence hearing the noises. We felt that we had to talk very quietly so our conversations were not heard.

Situation was good for us

Would have appreciated a toaster, a couple of plates and cutlery so we could have had our own breakfast.

It was a bit tired looking and could do with a bit of tlc. Garden overgrown around front door, defective door trim, damaged carpet. Although not advertised as available, I asked if there was the use of an iron and ironing board. I was flying to the area due a wedding and had a shirt that would need ironed again after travel. Initially I was told no, and when I asked what other guests had done was told no one had ever asked for an iron before. I was then informed by the owner that there was no iron for fear of damage to fixtures and fittings. I could understand this if the place was decorated to a 10/10 standard but imo it's not. In an attempt to come to a compromise the owner then offered me the use of an iron and iron board at a pre-arranged time and only if under supervision. I declined!
