Albufeira Balaia Golf Vilage 2 With Pool by Homing

This was my 3rd time to stay here but first with Homing. I usually love everything about the place.

The apartment was just basic with hard beds and ants under the sink. Very noisy at night time with large groups coming home from night out.

Da mesa de exterior não estar em condições de utilização e do chapéu de sol estragado e ferrugento, situação imediatamente comunicada e que substituiram quando estávamos a fazer o check out (após 10 dias de estadia). Porque não acederam ao nosso pedido de substituição durante a estadia. Gavetas da cozinha em mau estado. Vassoura sem cabo (!!!) e porta de entrada com diversas folgas da parede, de forma que a visita de osgas à noite era uma constante. 2 rolos de papel higiénico para 10 dias e nem uma garrafa de água de boas vindas.

The apartment was in a good location in Balaia Golf Village, close to the entrance and the snack bar. The resort is very tidy and well maintained, we liked the location as it was quiet but close enough that a taxi or uber to old town was only €10 one way.

We did not have a great experience with the management company 'homing'. Our flight was sceheduled to land after the check in window of 15:30 - 19:00 and we were advised that a cash fee would need to be paid for an out of hours check as there was no lock box at the property. The team confirmed we would need to pay €30 if we arrived before midnight or €80 after 12. We arrived at 00:30 and had to pay €80 despite the fact that there was a lock box with a key in it (I know this because when the cleaners came to clean the terrace they opened it). The person who greeted us was pleasant, opened the door and showed us how to turn on the air conditioner and open sliding doors. I dont believe that any of this was beyond our grasp to understand unaided and certainly an €80 fee felt excessive and unnecessary. When we asked why we were charged €80 when there was a lock box available the team stopped responding to messages. I would not recommend booking accomodation with 'homing'.
