Nice appartment in an idylic coastal town. Very friendly owners.
Wonderful location in a quiet coastal town. The property is uphill from the beach where the facilities (stores, restaurants and train station) are located. It's a 10-15 min walk, but you have to consider that the final road leading up to the property is quite steep. The owners are very nice and helpful. There's a lot of nice restaurants in Moneglia. It's easy to travel to Cinque Terre by train and other nice places.
The dog of the owner likes to announce (bark) that you have arrived, for us this wasn't an issue. But if you're afraid of dogs it might not be very comfortable. If traveling by car, follow the named roads (SP) as long as possible or you'll end up on adventurous (very narrow) roads.

Moneglia ist sehr schön und entspannt, v.a. jetzt in der Nachsaison.
Mongelia als Ort und die vielen Wandermöglichkeiten im Hinterland.
Dass ein Hund im Haus war, sehr unangenehm. Wurden nicht darauf hingewiesen. Mobiliar ein Mischmasch, dito Küchenutensillien. Alles eher alt. Müsste mal ersetzt werden. Dito die Betten und allg. die Möblierung. Küchentisch klein und wacklig.

Sehr freundliche und liebe Gastgeber, herzlichen Dank! Saubere und großzügige Wohnung im Dachgeschoss, mit Meerblick aus dem Schlafzimmerfenster. Ruhige Lage oberhalb von Moneglia/Strand, zu Fuß etwa 15-20 Minuten von/bis Ortszentrum, der Schlussanstieg ist recht steil und sportlich.
Parkplatzsituation im Ortszentrum und Strand ist schwierig, aber alles ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Durch die Tunnelsperrung von/nach Sestri Levante muss man einen Umweg über kleine und teilweise sehr enge Strassen fahren. Zeitverlust dadurch etwa 45 Minuten (im Vergleich zum Tunnel)
