The grounds and pool are attractive and the breakfast area is very nice. Our room clean and comfortable.
This hotel has a pay up front/no-refund policy, so all three nights of our stay were paid before we arrived. We had to cut our trip short, leave after one night and take the ferry back home early due to a family emergency cutting our holiday short by a week. Our other hotel let us cancel with no problems but since we had booked this hotel with Booking.com, the hotel would not refund our money and said we need to go through Booking. I have contacted Customer Service several times and each time they say they have reached out to the hotel but the hotel has not responded. I called the hotel and they said they haven't heard from Booking. So I think Booking is giving me the run around and simply doesn't want to give me the refund even though the owner said he is OK with it.
Conclusion--better to book with hotels directly and not use Booking, and avoid hotels which charge more than the first night up front ( I can understand keeping the first night in case of late cancelation).
