Via Ghibellina is located between Piazza Santa Croce and the Duomo Cathedral and within walking distance of all of Florence`s major museums and historical sites. It is famous as the location of the home of Michelangelo Buonarroti, now a museum. The apartment is 400m from Santa Croce and conveniently located near the Michelangelo Italian language school. It is a 10 minute walk to the Duomo, a 3 minute walk to the famous Sant`Ambrogio open-air food market and a 5 minute walk to the river Arno at the Ponte alla Grazie (one bridge up stream from the Ponte Vecchio). The area is lined with many shops and restaurants. Also nearby is a super market, post office and several gyms.
2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with balcony, 2nd floor (52 comfortable steps, no elevator), totally refurbished in 2020, approx 180 sq.mts. (approx. 1900 sq.ft) and consists of:

MAXIMUM 4 PERSONS
AMENITIES:
Air conditioning, electricity heating system, mosquito screens, microwave, oven, induction stove, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, 2 wine fridges, fridge with ice maker, internet connection, streaming TV, alarm. Only can smoke at the balcony and not suitable for child younger than 10 years old.
City Tax of EUR 6.00 per night for a maximum of 7 nights for each person 12 years or older will be collected at the check in, in cash.
Check-in time:
2 pm - 7pm: normal check-in schedule time
7 pm - 10pm: late check-in with a fee of 40€ to be paid in cash upon arrival

My stay at Casa Samantha was more than I even hoped for. It was an incredible apartment, so spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay while living in Florence for two and a half months. It truly felt like my home away from home and I’ll miss it dearly! Upon arrival I was greeted with such warmth and throughout my entire stay I felt very taken care of.
