My fiancée and I arrived via boat onto the dock. The home was very easy to locate, even in the dark, and we were able to tie up and venture down the pier were we were met with the staircase that leads to the home. We loved how high the property was, nestled in the foliage, feeling like out very own treehouse. The owner emailed us the code for the door which worked on the first try and we entered a spacious kitchen and open concept living room with a screened in patio in back with a table for us to have our first Thanksgiving together. We enjoyed settling in, watching movies, enjoying the scenery and finally laying our heads down on a lush soft mattress for the night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to prepare dinner. Everything was clean and pristine and gave us everything we needed to enjoy the holiday together. The large bathroom with double sinks and large shower was perfect for us and gave each of us space to get ready together. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe which allowed us to feel very comfortable. Checking out was a breeze and we hope very much to return soon!

My fiance and I came to OBX for a getaway between my last chemotherapy and my double mastectomy. We had such a wonderful time, and the property was everything we needed and more. Huge kitchen, and the stairs going right to the sound was amazing! The screened in porch was lovely for our morning coffee.
The king sized bed was a nice treat. The property is nice and quiet, and only a few minutes away from one of the best restaurants in town, the Salt Box!

This spot was perfect for a quiet get away for 2. The location was serene, tucked away in a nice neighborhood. The accommodations were very nice. I especially loved the screened in porch. There was a wonderful breeze coming off the water. We were only a quick drive to the main beaches and businesses but once inside our rooms it seemed like we were miles away form everyone. I would definitely return to this quite retreat on the sound.

The house was beautiful and very clean, and I love that you had access to the sound, and I even brought my bike and was even able to ride around the neighborhood. A very enjoyable time would definitely do it again.
