Beautiful & modern- 3 bedrooms

1 toilet only, not a problem but a 2nd downstairs toilet would have been great (but its a beautiful building, so may not be possible)

The cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen. The washing machine was great. No washing to do at home 😁 The location is very quiet and beautiful right on the coastal path. We were a group of 4 adults and found the cottage had plenty of space for all of us. A gentleman checked in to see if we had settled in ok and also the day before we left xx We would stay here again 😁

Floorboards squeeky, so nobody is sneaking anywhere. 🤣

Endroit magnifique près d'un petit port naturel isolé dans la campagne. Toutes les commodités sont proposées dans le Cottage y compris les torchons et le papier absorbant. Le gîte est très vaste et joliement aménagé et meublé, c'est très cosy. Le propriétaire répond très vite au messages WhatsApp et est très aimable.

Il n'y a pas de panneau indicateur pour s'orienter vers le gîte (Sandy Haven est de chaque côté de la baie. Le gestionnaire Skye Holiday Cottage est incompétent pour régler les problèmes malgré leur mention de disponibilité 24/24. Petit problème de serrure bloquée à la porte d'entrée non signalé.

Location for parts of coastal path we wanted to walk. Cottage bright and airy, good lighting (mostly). Plenty of sockets and USB charging points. Great TV and reliable Wifi. Loved the quirky stone staircase and comfy sofa. Good supply of crockery and glasses (other than tumblers), dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cloths and rubbish bags. The electric heated towel rail in the bathroom was great, easy to control, much better than normal radiators.

Bathroom-walk in shower too small so water floods most of the floor. Used towels on floor to mop up. More storage space need such as another cabinet and hooks on the door. Towel rail was missing (in cupboard broken off). No towel hook by basin. Not enough loo paper. There was only two of us but no way is it big enough for 6. No separate loo. Kitchen-missing: corkscrew, sieve, potato peeler, garlic crusher, fruit bowl, too few saucepans (all scratched and too small. Short on tumblers. No working wall clock. Fish slice with chunks out of the edge (health issue-should be chucked). Kitchen tap is not securely bolted to the sink and was wobbly. Few coat hangers, 3 of which were broken so thrown out. Need a lot more for each wardrobe especially for 6 people. Wall lamp at bottom of stairs is loose and bulb failed. Outside of the cottages owned by this landlord are looking very sad and neglected. Full of weeds, dead flowers in troughs, gate bolt needs fixing. Landlords of holiday cottages really really should go and stay in them once a year to properly assess the pro's and con's of what they're providing (or not).
