The unit I stayed in was large and spacious. A large lounge/dining area linked to an open plan kitchen. All very clean. The bedroom was spacious, and the bathroom albeit a little stark was also larger than most. Everything was nice and clean when I checked in. I wanted to use the pool - but between late hours and rainy weather unfortunately never got to do so. It looked inviting. The parking was spacious and the gates nice and wide for easy reversing in and out. The property feels very safe. The property is also 5 mins drive from Somerset West Country Club for golf and tennis - and 5 mins from the Waterstone Village mall - which has a fantastic Woolworths and lots of eating options.
My unit was never serviced during my stay - which was 6 nights. Just cleaning out the dustbin in the kitchen and washing dishes would have been nice. If the upstairs unit has a noisy guest you can hear them walking around at all times of day and night. Didn't bother me too much.

Received a very warm welcome, and was shown around the entire property, with everything being explained in detail.
The apartment was very well maintained, with an extensive range of pots, pans and utensils for use in the kitchen. There was a fan to keep you cool at night.
The shower room was nice and large, with a decent amount of pressure making for a really nice shower in the mornings.
I would definitely return if I was in the area again!

Very convenient location, but still in a quiet area. It had most household items. Great pool and outdoor area. Rene was very friendly and helpful.
It could have more plugs and adapters, especially in the bedroom and living room. Also no scrub brush in the kitchen

Safe suburban neighborhood - about 2 km from nearest mall/grocery. (Which, by the way, is small and offers nearly everything.) the guesthouse is also located quite near M2 and R44, which will take you in all the most frequented locations. About 30 min from Airport and 45 from Cape Town. Because of all of the above, we have had a very restful, satisfying time here.
Internet service was very iffy for the first part of our stay - which was frustrating. Rene worked hard to increase the speed and finding a new provider. Lately it is working better. We are grateful
There was a water pipe leak through the ceiling of our room at the beginning of the stay. Again Rene worked immediately to fix the leak. There has been no problem since.
General lighting and outlet availability is a 6/10
