Mary could not have been more welcoming and solicitous. The house was so comfortable! We could begin each morning with a walk through the Killarney National Park, right across the street.A beautiful garden at the back of the house - obviously the result of much care. So many pubs and good restaurants not more than a ten or fifteen minute walk away. (One note: be aware that there is a tight driveway - a little challlenging for those not accustomed to driving in Ireland.)All in all, we would happily stay at the Ivy Cottage again- a beautiful get away! We had a great time in Killarney and Ivy Cottage exploring the area with some rental bikes. Lots of great nature, lots of nice and relaxed people, simply an enjoyable week of holidays.

A gorgeous little place with a picturesque backyard garden, well stocked with a generous array of amenities, and a comfortable 20 minute walk from Killarney town center. Our only concern was parking: the one space provided is quite narrow, and requires that you either back in or out across a busy two lane road. your car in, or backbitbout

Lovely house with beautiful garden, 2 full bedrooms and one kids room. 2 baths, both nice. Full kitchen with garden view.
You should be aware all bedrooms are upstairs and stairways are narrow.
Very near the entrance to Killarney National Park, Killarney city center, and shops. Perfect location in a safe area.
Owner gave us great tips and ideas, always super available, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much.
Be sure to confirm checkout time - VRBO said 11, but it was 10.
