The rustic feel was great for those who like to rough it! Loved the porch during the rain and the peace and quiet of the outdoors. Totally secluded which was perfect. Perfect setting to watch (downloaded) Evil Dead original film.
Close to great wineries and view of Keuka Lake. Main Deck Restaurant is closeby and highly recommended!
It can get warm in the cabin for summer, so definitely keep windows open! A fan would be helpful. Beds are lined with plastic, so they stayed too warm for summer. Also huge pee stain under sheet on large bed which was unexpected so we had to sleep on a blanket.
Do not forget your flashlight!!

The location which is totally off the grid, perfect for a couples hideout. The cottage itself is very neat. Has a fully functioning fireplace, basic solar powered electricity and lighting. Outside seating arrangement, fire pit. Moderately comfortable 3 beds that can take four adults at max.
It is definitely recommended for couples of group of friends looking for an adventure stay.
The unavailability of water, running or stored. This was a big issue for us. Especially if you are visiting with family with kid. The composting type toilet works as intended, but watch out for bugs and flees. The propane oven works but it ran out of gas after the first 10 min.
Families with kids may find this place a bit too rustic. But it was some experience.

Its right in the woods and off the grid but still near the lake and nearby towns. Communication with the property was prompt.
We missed the description mentioning the property didn't have any water or proper kitchenette, so no sink, fridge, shower etc. It is way more primitive than we thought! I think the price is too high for what it is, but once you get used to its basic facilities it was nice. The orange plastic fence could be replaced by a wooden fence, because this obstructed the beautiful natural feel of the place. And we could've done with instruction on how to turn on the light.
