Lovely and comfortable lodge with four bedrooms and relaxing common areas, including a cool garden. Great kitchen if you want to self-cater. Helen and Steve are very accomodating and hospitable and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, including pick-up and drop-off at Vallorcine station which is only a 15min walk but not suitable if you have wheeled luggage. Helen’s breakfast is terrific - continental style with eggs - and available each morning for E14. She can give great advice about local walks and attractions in the area. I’d definitely return in future. Highly recommended
It was quite hot whilst I was visiting and I think the bedrooms would benefit from a portable fan to circulate the air. Unfortunately, Europe not yet geared up for dealing with hot weather - imo, fans can help enormously.
