La Tour du Bois fleuri

The location, La Tour du Bois Fleuri, is ideally situated. It is only a ten-minute walk from the historic center of Colmar (La Petite Venice), and bakeries, a fresh market, and a supermarket with a laundromat (Supermaché U) are located within a radius of one hundred meters. Because the accommodation is situated on a short one-way street designated as a residential area, you can still enjoy complete peace and quiet. The well-maintained apartment is located in the fully furnished attic of a beautiful, historic villa and is accessible via an external metal spiral staircase. The cozy lodging is very spacious and airy, with all necessary comforts. The kitchen also offers many luxuries, including a refrigerator with a separate freezer, a conventional oven and microwave, a neat kettle without the usual limescale found in most rental properties, two coffee makers, a dishwasher, and an extensive dinnerware set, as well as an assortment of glasses and cutlery. The available cooking equipment is also more than sufficient. However, we would advise against using some of the non-stick pots as some are full of scratches. But preparing meals is no problem, as a standard cooking set is also available. The owners who live in the villa are very friendly and helpful and ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. A place we will certainly book again during our next stay in the delightful region of Colmar, with its many interesting sites.

Beautiful house in a calm neighbourhood of Colmar. Lovely and spacious apartment. Very kind welcoming and availability in suggesting good eating places. Ten minutes walking from the city center

La surface pour 2 est suffisante, le joli gîte est bien placé, au calme, sans être plein centre de Colmar. Nous avons pu avoir une place de parking à l'intérieur du jardin. Les hôtes sont disponibles.

Peut-être avoir des draps en coton beaucoup plus agréables pour plusieurs nuits que du linge de lit en "plastic". L'hiver il faudrait isoler/separer l'escalier en bois car l'entrée apporte beaucoup de froid dans l'habitation.

It’s a decent property, but not worth the money being spent on it. The spiral staircase up for 2 floors and then another level up by stairs was a bit cumbersome. Also, the single toilet was quite a hassle. There’s one room with the open bathtub was quite a challenge. We didn’t quite like the add on open wash basin and shower which was force fit into the bedroom.
