Good location, modern design and nice view

The toilet flush didn't work and the host told us that we had to hit the water cistern with our hand to make it work (seriously?). There was also a constant sewage smell in the bathroom. Also there is construction work right in front of the building, so every morning we were woken up by the noise. In the kitchen, there was an old worn-out dish sponge with food residue left on it from previous guests (replacing a sponge costs almost nothing, so this was disappointing) The apartment didn't have the shower gel or shampoo that were listed on Booking.com. When we asked the host about them, he answered that he didn't know which brands people preferred, so he "left it up to us to choose what suits us." (At the same time, he had thoughtfully left for example sunscreens behind from previous guests for the next ones) The hand soap was so diluted that it was basically soapy water and impossible to use, so we had to buy our own soap as well. Both the bath towels and hand towels smelled stale, as if they had already been used, so we ended up washing them ourselves. The advertised air conditioner didn't work properly. Instead of cooling the room, it only blew warm, humid air, making the room even more uncomfortable.

The apartment is located in a perfect position with access to supermarket, restaurants , bars and cafes. Also very good access to bus stops and easy access if you have a car to the expressway to all the major attractions. The owner Jaime was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He met us at the property to explain all the amenities and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay. The unit was spotlessly clean and has a fantastic view from the balcony. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay!

Bom pequeno almoço a poucos metros

Se gostar de refeições ao pôr do sol, esta é a varanda certa da ilha da Madeira. A vista é deslumbrante. Todo o apartamento é moderno, acolhedor e bastante completo. A zona é calma e afastada dos maiores focos turísticos mas facilmente se chega a todo o lado. Tem um shopping a poucos metros. O Sr Jaime foi uma simpatia a mostrar-nos o apartamento e a ajudar com sugestões locais tanto para aluguer de carro como restaurantes.
