Lokalita bola výborná, tichá, ubytovanie je priamo v historickom centre, čo bolo veľmi praktické. V okolí je viacero výborných pekární -"boulangerie" (asi minúta chôdze) a reštaurácií s veľmi rozumnými cenami – obedové menu sa pohybuje okolo 14–18 eur. Vzdialenosť ubytovania od vlakovej stanice (gare SNCF) je približne 10 - 15 minút chôdze. Foix je skvelým východiskovým bodom na výlety do okolitých hôr (Pyreneje) a historických miest. V meste sa nachádza tiež verejný bazén.
Schodisko je pomerne úzke a kľukaté, čo môže byť náročnejšie pre handicapovaných hostí ubytovaných na vyšších poschodiach.

Bona ubicació. Estava molt net. Preu raonable. Rapidesa de resposta del propietari per telèfon.
La escala feia molt mala olor. Per sort no se sentia dins l'apartament. El bany no te porta, només una cortina que arrossegava per terra. No hi ha un llit doble, com diu l'anunci de booking, te un sofà- llit que és còmode, però no hi ha llit. En obrir el sofà no es podia entrar per una banda. No hi ha cortines a les finestres, si obríem per la calor, entraven mosquits.
