The location was close to Zadar and there was a nice view of the sea and a breeze as the appartment was on the upper floor of the building. The hosts couldn't have been more welcomming or more accomodating. There was extensive household supplies already in the appartment including some welcome treats :) We shared some Grappa with the hosts and chatted which was lovely. We would highly recommend this host and this appartment for a stay in Zadar, but your own transport is essential.
It was not the fault of the hosts, but there were still some roadworks going on in the surrounding area at the time of our stay. The impact was minimal however, as we just used an alternative route and the works themselves were not noisy...which was great. There was also a minor issue with the water on two occasions, but this was quickly resolved and the hosts were very helpful in this matter also.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. The host was so friendly and welcoming. She even gave us fresh tomatoes from the garden!
The bedrooms were quite warm even with a fan. Pillows could be a bit softer. It would be helpful to have instructions for the oven and cooktop in different languages.

The host family was wonderful! The place was beautiful and modern - the host family built the place themselves. Amazing work! The host family went beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They provide great recommendations for places to visit and eat. And shared with us fruits (e.g. watermelon and tomatoes) from their garden. My husband loved having coffee on the balcony - very relaxing. If we had more time, we would love to grab a drink with their family. The location is good - not too far from the center/Old Town - 10 minutes drive. There are great restaurants around the house/neighborhoods that are cheaper than those in town.
We loved everything about the host family and house.

Modern apartment.
It was 34 ℃ outside and only AC in the kitchen/living room. There was no way to cool down the bedrooms at all.
