    A good stay with a few things that could be improved We stayed at this hotel in Coonoor for 4 days, and overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The Rainforest room was good, and the view from the room was excellent. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve the guest experience: * The Rainforest rooms are east-facing, so the sunrise brings in very bright sunlight as early as 6 AM. Adding proper blackout curtains would make a big difference, especially for guests who want to sleep in. * No bathroom towels or toiletries were provided, which was inconvenient and something the hotel should address. * The breakfast was almost the same on all four days of our stay. Adding more variety and rotating the menu would make the experience much better. * The hotel restaurant was extremely expensive, especially the dinner menu and buffet. Unfortunately, the food did not feel worth the price. We found that eating at nearby restaurants or ordering through Swiggy offered better-tasting food at much more reasonable prices. Important tip for guests: Don’t miss the delicious desserts from Moddys while you’re staying in Coonoor/Ooty! 🍰 They are definitely worth trying.
