Cortijo de la Media Luna

This was rated as a 3 star casa Rural but it was much better than that .the previous comments summed it up . Our room was large a total private terrace the restaurant was out of this world it has to be the best Italian restaurant in the area.

There has been a new road put in which is not yet open .The sat nav said go onto the 6111 but we never found it but the 6113 took us there therecwere home made sign telling us we were on the right road. When we left we saw the local council had put up a large sign

The Cortijo de la Media Luna is in a beautiful setting. Surrounded by lovely gardens seating and eating areas and all well maintained, didn't use the pool but it was very clean. Would be a beautiful setting for a Wedding. Reception staff were very attentive and so friendly. We had the double with the bath in the room, fridge TV and a large terrace with views to the countryside and sea, it was great. Room was very clean and bed was big and comfortable. We had dinner the first night and it was amazing the chef again was so friendly and would recommend. From the Cortijo it's a 10 mins walk through the countryside to the beach. We walked to the Pueblo and that took 35 mins. Both are only 7 mins in the car. I would definately recommend visiting Mojácar and staying at the Cortijo.

Beautiful place and immaculately clean. Lovely owner and staff. Located above Mojacar. The room was lovely and had all that was needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and large. The staff are very accommodating and helpful with requests. We will stay again.

Nothing we didn't like. The only thing I would say to be helpful is that the room was a little dark to do makeup, and the bed pillows were very soft. Could do with a firmer one. Highly recommend it's such a gorgeous place.
