Very disappointing

Accomodation felt homely, there was a good rural and distant sea view over the hedge. .

The beds are small and uncomfortable. The microwave combi spewed smoke in use, lack of cleaning ventsperhaps, equally the hob was covered in spattered grease. This was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. The oven digital display was faulty and as there was no handbook, it was of no use. The double bed duvet cover was stained on the underside. Reported to property owners, no replacements were forthcoming. We decided to leave early as we needed a decent sleep. Due to the above, i would not recommend 4 Meadow View

Lovely lodge clean and ideal staycation 👍🏻

Lodge was 👍🏻 great. Site facility limited, shop was great. The on-site pub and food as poor not impressed .

On site depot pub not good let’s site down needs better management and better food menu with realistic prices !! Needs redecorating!! This could be made to be so much better disappointing ☹️

Excellent property, good location, well presented and clean, everything you need supplied

Grill pan and hop were cleaner when we left, didn’t like the cleaning charge before we arrived, spotless when we left.

We rate the chalet as excellent value in all aspects.

Excellent location. We were able to visit many favourite places in north Devon from this location.

Good, comfortable place. Good location.

Good location in-between Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Clean, comfortable beds. No noise from neighbours.

Could do with some degree of renovation at some point. Cooker, hob and extractor a bit fiddly at times. Sofa in living area a bit sunken so uncomfortable after a while. Nothing major, however.

Perfect stay

The property was clean, tidy and everything we needed worked. Close to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.

Would have been nice to have 7 nights instead of 6. However, given the cleaniness, I can understand why 6 nights are offered.

Lovely modern and comfortable lodge

The lodge was nicely decorated, modern and had plenty of space and working facilities no issues with the accomodation.

Check in was rather late and check out rather early in the day, also there was a long list of things asking the holidaymakers to do before checking out e.g. stripping the bedsheets which we had not found the case anywhere else before.

Such a cute little lodge, perfect for our short stay. Amazing views to the ocean and the sunset was incredible! Very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed.

Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Easy to get to, spotless site, quiet despite being fairly close to the road. Perfect location for our requirements. Kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was quite powerful. TV has a sound bar, which was handy given that Glasto was on!

The code emailed to us to unlock the key safe was wrong. We had to wait 45 minutes for the correct code. Despite the instructions on the card left in the kitchen, there is no wifi. However, there appears to be a 4g/5g mast directly in front of the property so 4g was maximum strength, which can otherwise be an issue in this part of the world.

Good location and lovely lodge

Lovely views from the decking and the living room. Comfortable beds (apart from pillows). Good showers. Fairly well equipped kitchen. (No washing machine but is a dishwasher) Comfortable sofas with throws which was nice. Soft fluffy towels. Bright and airy. Really well placed for Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Croyde.

There wasn’t a coffee pot or cafetière (defo no coffee machine even though it says there is)so couldn’t have a decent coffee. the tea/coffee basket with sachets in had hair in it and it was dirty so we didn’t use any. Also the sugar sachets was hard so quite old? We weren’t told that the boiler would be off and took us a while to realise where it was so did assume no hot water at first. There is NO WI-FI even though it’s advertised- we had a teenager with us so wasn’t ideal. There wasn’t any hand towels put out for us but found some spare in a wardrobe. Quite a few of the light bulbs didn’t work. The extractor fan didn’t work so could smell your cooking throughout. Pillows on bed were uncomfortable. Out of date welcome folder in a cupboard so didn’t find it for a while and we’re weren’t sent any information on how to check in, I had to ask for it, there was really old menus for the pub on site so prices were way off (we binned them as we then found an up to date one)
