Wee Harbour View

The flat is self-catering. Lorna, the host, is friendly and accessible. Its location by the Old Pier gives it exceptional views and it is close to the centre of the town's facilities. It is very stylish and calm, and the cleanliness and comfort are exceptional. It is well-stocked with crockery, cutlery, cookware etc, and condiments and beverages. The bathroom has a good 'I forgot my...' cupboard. There is a large-screen televion and a cosy electrical fire-flame place, plus throws, for cooler down-time. All very thoughtful. The facilities are very modern. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed. We would love to come back, and thoroughly recommend it.

There are only two, minor things. The lockbox by the flat door is tricky to open. It took two of us to manoeuvre it. I would recommend a soft-closing toilet seat, for modern perfection. I startled us all in the night, dropping it!

Everything you could need for a break away in Millport. Well equipped with big comfortable rooms. The host also provided a lot of little extras including an amazing coffee machine. An absolute joy having a hot cup of coffee looking out at the almost panoramic view of Millport shoreline and harbour. We have been visiting this island for over 50 years and this is probably one of the best places we have stayed. Thank you to the very kind hosts who kept us well informed and made our stay such a pleasure.

This is not a criticism at all, but it did take a bit of time to find the cutlery drawer in the very clean and modern kitchen units 😄
