Hotel Ucanca

Given the location and proximity to the bus station it exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and noise. We found the hotel to be bright, airy and the room comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The noise from outside was barely noticeable except for the odd loud exhaust.

It’s a simple hotel and typically tiled throughout the corridors and rooms, so noises seem to echo throughout. The pulling of doors to close, and lift motor noises did travel easily through to our room.

It is close to the airport. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The location is near a busy road (though it was not a problem when we closed the windows). No AC but a good ventilator.

Location is perfect for airport bus, right behind bus station. Clean accomodation, good for short stay.

No kettle or hair dryer in room.

The location and room was good. Near the airport, taxi rank and shops. Lady receptionist in the daytime was brilliant, showed me to room, was friendly and said that the could call me a taxi as leaving at 3.30 am, just come to desk 10 mins before, so didn't worry about downloading a taxi app or arranging one the night before.

Unfortunately the male receptionist at night was unhelpful and just told me to get a cab from taxi rank outside. I explained I was all alone and was he sure at 3.30am there would be one. He said yes, I should have stood my ground but off I went. As I left a voice came through intercom to make sure I shut the door so I know I tercom was working. The street were deserted at 3.30 am and certainly no taxi. I was very scared and went back to door and kept pressing intercom , he wouldn't answer. Eventually I saw a man and he kindly used his phone to call a taxi . The whole experience was frightening and the feel the male receptionist was very lazy.
