Pupa Winery Serene Stay

True winery which provides the full experience from winery visit, wine cellar tour and tasting expetience. We enjoyed the evening dinner and tasted Pupa wines.

Very friendly host, the wine tour was excellent and informative. Wine tasting was great too and we got to know the other guests. Fantastic building and a real gem in Alabania.

The breakfast wasn't to our liking however there was a lot of it!

Unfortunately the property is facing a road and the rooms are above the kitchen, so it is not as quite (serene) as you might think it is.

Outdoor area still under construction but would be great to have a meal there once ready, rooms as Don with high standards but they are not fully completed year. TV and fridge are not in the rooms yet

Since the place is still under construction, I would understand that some facilities are not ready yet but the lace lacks that service standards. For example, if the breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am, I would expect the staff to open the restaurant at 8 not to wake up and 8:30 while we are waiting to get a cup of coffee since there are not kettle or coffee machine in the rooms. Also, the language barrier is an issue there. The wine tasting experience was so disappointing as there were just telling us about eh name of the wine and which year it was made. That’s it. I had similar wine tasting last year in the same area and it was something to remember as they explained to us many things about the wine and to drink each one with what food. This was completely missing in pupa. In general, very nice place, nice rooms and they spend so much on creating high standards facility but it is missing the soul. You need to hire someone to bring all this to live.
