    There’s very little loud construction noises from ceiling of unit *** also bathroom ceiling. I am pretty sure it’s knocking noises by hammer. No idea how it allowed to happen at Marriott. Definitely not by another guest unless he brought his own hammer. I can provide u videos with what went on almost 20mins. Had to run downstairs to front desk to complain mid night. Bcos the huge noise woke me up .

    The hotel is new, clean and well maintained, with complete facilities for a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. However, although it is positioned as a 5-star hotel, I personally would rate it closer to a 4-star experience. The renovation, interior design and overall finishing feel more like a 4-star hotel rather than what I would expect from a 5-star property. The location is in the city centre, which is convenient, but it is not very close to the main tourist attractions. Most attractions are around a 5-minute drive away, so having a car or taking an e-hailing service would be more convenient. One downside for families is that there is no dedicated kids’ area, so there is not much for young children to do within the hotel. Overall, a good choice if you are looking for a new and comfortable hotel in Melaka with complete facilities, but I would not consider it a true 5-star experience.

    The hotel is without a 24-hour lounge/cafe. Location was away from the busy roads/spots, but close enough for a walk to Jonker (16-20mins).
