Villa Lumière- Avantes

Before I say anything about the villa itself, I want to start with the person who deserves the place of honour in this review – our host, Kostas. During all our travels, we have never met anyone like him. He is, without a doubt, the best host we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Kostas had prepared a lot of surprises and we felt we had arrived at a family home rather than a holiday rental. The attention to detail throughout the house is simply remarkable. The bathrooms are equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need – toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, mosquito repellent and even a fully stocked first aid kit. It is obvious that Kostas has thought about every possible situation to make his guests feel comfortable and cared for. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Every room is spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned, with direct access to a terrace. The bathrooms are large and modern, offering both a shower and a bathtub. Everything is maintained to the highest standard. Although Kostas does not permanently live at the property, he has a private apartment on the ground floor where he occasionally stays. We had the pleasure of spending some time with him because we invited him to join us, and we are so glad we did. He is warm, kind, genuinely interested in people and always happy to help or offer advice. His hospitality comes naturally and makes you feel less like a guest and more like a friend. The estate is breathtaking. The views over the sea are stunning, and the garden is filled with beautiful flowers. After sunset, when the lights come on, the entire garden transforms into what can only be described as a fairy-tale garden. It is magical

…. continue- The swimming pool is another highlight – large, crystal clear, beautifully maintained and wonderfully warm, making it a pleasure to swim at any time of the day. Our daughter absolutely fell in love with the friendly kittens that live on the property. They are gentle, sociable and brought her so much joy during our stay. The villa offers complete privacy, exceptional comfort and an atmosphere that makes it very difficult to leave. Every holiday creates memories, but only a few places leave a lasting mark on your heart. This is one of them. Thank you, Kostas, for your extraordinary kindness, generosity and hospitality. You didn’t simply provide us with a place to stay – you gave our family an unforgettable holiday. We sincerely hope to return one day.

Great views, nice pool, villa was great with large rooms, plenty of light and insect screens on all windows, and the fridge well stocked! Cant fault the villa at all. Owner was very helpful throughout the stay.

Nothing to say on the villa. Took a while to find our bearings for car travel, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was even more beautiful than in the pictures – spotlessly clean, bright, and very comfortable. The highlight was without doubt the breathtaking view from all the terraces and from the large swimming pool – truly unforgettable. Everything was perfectly prepared for my arrival, and all the amenities were of high quality. The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, yet quiet and relaxing. The host was extremely welcoming, responsive, and made sure I had everything for a perfect stay. I would happily return and strongly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great experience!
