Ferienhaus Altes Winzerhaus - Senhalser Höfe

Lovely place to unwind for a few days. Great location right on the River, central for The Nurburgring, Burg Eltz, Cochem and all the Mosel region. The house was clean, the owners were really helpful on arrival and throughout our stay and we couldn't have asked for more.

We were recommended to stay at Senhalser Höfe and our expectations were well exceeded. We made the most of a number of the facilities offered by the property including the outdoor dining and garden overlooking the river, the amazing movie cinema in the cellar and of course the indoor jacuzzi with large opening windows on to the river. Sitting in the jacuzzi with a glass of Moselle wine was a great way to relax and unwind. The accommodation is in a great location - unlike many other places on the Moselle, which are located on the main roads on either side of the river, this property is located directly on the river bank, away from the noise of the road. It is also close to many of the major attractions which we took advantage of, including walks into the vineyards to the nearby Roman Graves as well as the well-known Calmont-Klettersteig. We also used the bikes to ride along the river, as well as the canoe to paddle along the river. There are plenty of wineries and restaurants within walking distance and the people in the area are friendly and welcoming. The property is well appointed with modern features and old-style charm. The kitchen had everything we need to be able to comfortably self cater. It was great for a group like ours (5 adults) but would also be fine for a larger group or for a couple on a weekend getaway. The owners were very accommodating and helpful in recommending ways to make the most of our weekend on the Moselle. I would most definitely recommend Senhalser Höfe and look forward to returning there myself when I travel to Europe again.
