About this cottage rental
Our cozy river-side cottage along the Conestoga River is one of two cottages that are within 2 miles of the center of Lancaster City, and have a treehouse-like view from their stance on the hill side.
Located just outside downtown Lancaster, luxury cottage is a peaceful, quiet escape and a great location to simply rest and restore or to experience the best of Lancaster City and Lancaster County tourist attractions. Explore downtown Lancaster, only 2 miles away visiting Lancaster Central Market, Lancaster Convention Center, Fulton Theater, boutique shops, cafes and galleries, and restaurants. A short drive to the heart of Amish Country will take you to the Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater, and Dutch Wonderland amusement park. For the outdoor enthusiasts, we don't recommend leaving home without your walking/running shoes, bikes, paddle board/kayak or fishing poles. There is river access from the yard, and the cottage is walking distance to Lancaster County Park and the Conestoga Greenway Trail, where there is plenty of beauty to explore whether by foot, bike or car. Just half a mile down the road is also the Rocky Springs Entertainment Center for entertainment and bowling. Close to Amtrack train station and not far from Spooky Nook Sports Complex.
This brand newly built cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living space with vaulted open ceilings, 1 1/2 bath, a lofted master bedroom with lots of natural light and small 2nd bedroom with trundle bed. It includes a washer and dryer, deck furniture and grill, fire pit by the river, and 2 street parking spots.
Nearby venues include: Marriott Downtown Lancaster, Excelsior, The Cork Factory Hotel, Riverdale Manor.
Short-term rental, long-term/traveling nurse friendly! Small workspace with desk available in master bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was very clean and Comfortable. We had a very nice view of the stream from our porch. We were hoping to do some fishing. unfortunately, the edge of the stream was not mowed so it was difficult to do any fishing from the shore. If you don't intend to fish this is not a problem.Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others.

Very lovely cottage quite new and quite tastefully decorated. Built very compactly there was still everything we needed and more. The deck overlooks the Conestoga River in a somewhat rustic location yet beautifully landscaped consistent with the setting. We enjoyed being near Amish country and many wonderful historic sites including Lancaster Central Park, the National Civil War Museum, the city of Lancaster itself. The Sight and Sound Theater was definitely a highlight of our trip.

We had the best time at this sweet local abode. The amenities were amazing and we felt so at peace with how quiet it was. Beautiful views from the deck. Looking forward to booking in the future!!
